This pendant features a hand-set garden quartz cabochon with flowing natural banding, but this stone holds a tiny secret. Within the stone is a delicate druzy pocket ( a layer of tiny, sparkling mineral crystals creating a glittering, sugar-like texture) which occurs naturally during the stones growth. The stone is left untreated and unfilled, preserving its geological character.
The setting is crafted in sterling silver with an ope-back brass backplate, allowing light to pass through and highlieght the sotne’s depth and texture. All rings have been soldered clowed for durability and longevity.
This pendant hangs from from a sterling silver paperclip chain with 2mm x 4mm links, finished with a handcrafted sterling silver clasp. Necklace length is 18”, pendant length 1-3/4”.
Avoid ultrasonic cleaners. Clean with a soft cloth. Store separately to protect the stone and finish.
